Researching and assisting in Company’s revamping of main service sets and assisting in improving workflows, strategy and overall process for link building. Note, this does not include or define all tasks which the post holder may be expected to carry out. Scope of role
To assist in researching, developing, strategizing and expanding our current methodologies behind our link building processes to meet the growing industries SEO Standards while keeping in line with submission sites TOS and searching engine guidelines.
Main Responsibilities and Job Tasks:
§ To use/test a variety of proprietary and third party tools to compile and draw insight from both company-specific, sector-specific and generic industry data, in order to better understand user trends and behavior and add context to the performance of our services
§ To initiate and carry out objective testing of tools, resources and techniques.
§ Testing and Researching of industry leading tools with the purpose of cutting down on the manual labor and reporting time
§ To measure the effectiveness of the tools by trending their performance
§ Researching and Developing systems of how to effectively integrate a new tool in to our current workflow & how the tool will interface with our current production requirements
§ To produce monthly reports of a tool’s performance for CEO/COO showing robust descriptions of monthly activity, suitable advice and recommendations and a clear summary of performance against the key performance indicators and metrics in line with company needs
§ Develop training materials for the Off Page Team regarding new tools & reporting
§ Manage and develop training materials for the Off Page Team and Company regarding general SEO knowledge
§ To carry out detailed backlink analysis and devise innovative link building campaign ideas.
§ To develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives for the majority of our client base
§ To work with your CEO, COO & SEO Director to put specific strategies in place to ensure that a strong, diverse link portfolio is being developed for each of your clients.
§ To ensure your knowledge of the search engine marketing industry is kept up to date and relevant by networking/researching/reading blogs and news sources.
§ To actively and frequently propose new and improved search engine marketing campaign ideas.
§ To strive for excellence across your work
§ Build your expertise in all possible routes to your target market ( websites, mobile, social, video, blogs, retail portals etc)
§ To freely share knowledge, insight, best practice, tactics and ideas
§ To carry out detailed initial SEO consultancies/audits for assigned new customers as required.
§ Manages advertising and marketing communications activities
§ Conceives and executes marketing strategies and programs to increase the profitability of a product or service.
§ Develop linking strategies to improve website search results
§ Develop and research how to boosts rankings by link building methods and/or site structure & content
§ Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
§ Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
§ Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
§ Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
§ Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
§ Expert and Liaison with media and advertising
§ Creating and executing creative marketing and link bait-style
§ Integrating social media activity deeply into the search mix in order to maximize results across all digital channels
§ To carry out detailed backlink analysis and devise innovative link building campaign ideas
• Thorough understanding of datafeeds and means to effectively optimize them.
• Understanding of basic HTML, CSS and code structure as it relates to SEO.
• Experience with link building and proper usage while representing the brand in the best possible light.
• Working knowledge of the latest web technologies, social tools and methods for effectively leveraging them to improve brand visibility.
• Understanding of web development, design, search engine algorithms
• Strong analytical focus and site analytic tool experience
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Build and manage internal SEO Off Page team, identifying and executing new opportunities for improving high-quality organic search engine traffic
• Ensure a careful balance of on/off page optimization including content generation and link building (internal/external).
